3/5 stars - The end product was okay. The artist made the changes I requested for the most part and without complaint. I think my expectations were too high though. I have a bit of an art background and "Instapainting" is exactly what it sounds like. An artist quickly paints your project, for better or worse. For the money, it is not worth it. I reached out to hire somebody with the hopes of being impressed or blown away but I honestly think I could have painted this just as well. My intentions were to give this to my wife as a gift, but her first question is going to be, "Did you paint this?" That is not a good thing. I was hoping for better, but I appreciate the artist's time.

5/5 stars - The artist was awesome. Not only was the painting top notch, but he went above and beyond and overnighted the painting to me so that it arrived by Christmas; despite getting admonished by Instapainting for doing so.

5/5 stars - I sent him a pic of my grandmother when she was young and I love the painting! The pic I sent was black and white and he asked how I wanted it to be painted and was helpful when I asked questions. Was very satisfied with the result.
