what if I do not like the proof of the picure. is my deposit refundable?

If you have complex instructions and asked for a digital markup *before* the artist has started actually painting it, then yes you can cancel the order for a full refund still. If the artist has already completed the painting and you do not like how it looks from the photograph shown on the website, you provide specific instructions on how to change the painting, however at this point the painting is not refundable or cancellable because it is already finished, and you would be responsible for the remaining balance on the order if only a deposit was paid.
